We had another sold-out sunset cruise last night for History Mondays aboard the lovely Schooner Woodwind. I was the guest storyteller and spun a tale of secrecy and intrigue surrounding the towers on Greenbury Point.
Throughout two world wars and well beyond, the people of Annapolis played golf next to and boated past America’s most top-secret military communication facility and didn’t have a clue they were living near our nation’s first line of defense.
During our sunset sail, we unraveled the many guarded government secrets that have long remained hidden. We heard about a mysterious place where many battles were fought and history was often grudgingly preserved.
